Reading Our Ebooks

At Security Blend Books, all of our ebooks are DRM-free, allowing you to use them on as many devices as you like, however you like. We kindly ask our customers to support us and our authors by purchasing the ebooks rather than pirating them. Your support helps us continue to bring you fantastic books, and means more resources available for great security books in the future!

Since our directly-sold ebooks are distributed as epub files, there's a few steps you may need to get them onto your device or ereader app. We've picked some of the most common to walk you through getting the books onto your device.

1. Amazon Kindle Devices

Kindle devices do not natively support EPUB files, but you can convert and transfer them using the Send-to-Kindle feature.

Using a PC:

1. Go to amazon.com/sendtokindle.
2. Log in with your Amazon account.
3. Upload the EPUB file (must be smaller than 200MB).
4. Select your Kindle device and click "Send".

Using an Android or iOS Device:

1. Install the Kindle app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Log in with your Amazon account.
3. Locate the EPUB file using your phone’s file manager.
4. Share the file to the Kindle app and select your Kindle device.

2. Kobo eReaders

Kobo devices support EPUB files natively.

Using a PC:

1. Connect your Kobo device to your computer using a USB cable.
2. Open the Kobo device folder on your computer.
3. Drag and drop the EPUB file into the "Books" folder on your Kobo.

Using the Kobo App:

1. Open the Kobo app on your device.
2. Go to "My Books" and tap the "+" icon.
3. Select "Import" and choose the EPUB file from your device.

3. Apple Books (iOS)

Apple Books supports EPUB files directly.

1. Open the Apple Books app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap "Library" and then "Collections."
3. Select "Import" and choose the EPUB file from your device.

4. Google Play Books

Google Play Books also supports EPUB files.

1. Open the Google Play Books app on your device.
2. Tap the menu icon and select "Settings."
3. Tap "Enable PDF uploading" if not already enabled.
4. Go to "My Books" and tap the "+" icon.
5. Select the EPUB file from your device.

5. Calibre (for various devices)

Calibre is a free eBook management tool that can convert and transfer EPUB files to various devices.

1. Download and install Calibre on your computer.
2. Add the EPUB file to Calibre.
3. Connect your eReader device to your computer.
4. Select the EPUB file in Calibre and click "Send to Device".
